About

In 2000 a charity was founded that began the transformation of Eden
from an area of disused land into a green, tranquil, inner city space;
a pleasant place for all to sit, play or garden.
Its aim is to create and maintain a sustainable habitat for wildlife and promote bio-diversity
by planting British native species and through organic gardening.

Volunteer

Eden offers local residents a tiny oasis to escape the city, and also a chance for you to get your hands muddy to help contribute to our special garden during our volunteer days every Friday morning.

Please email us via the contact form below if you are
interested in joining.

In the current lockdown, volunteering is suspended.

Become a Friend

Eden Community Garden is run by volunteers and relies on the generosity of supporters and funders.

Your one-off or regular contributions help us to keep the garden looking beautiful to be enjoyed by everyone in the community. Currently we need donations to help fund:

  • New educational signage (£2,500)
  • Our part-time gardener
  • Repairs to benches
  • System to collect rainwater off the church roof (£1,000)
