WILDCITY Creative Nature Project

DSC_0260 DSC_0263

WILDCITY worked with local families over 3 years in the Eden Community garden to develop a participatory creative nature project.  Working within the garden, participants experimented with a broad range of creative processes including textiles, clay work, painting, collage and creations with natural materials. The garden became a blank canvas to create within, a backdrop for filming, photography, installation and largescale sculptural art works and as a source of materials and inspiration for all the whole project. The WILDCITY artists devised engaging creative activities accessible for all ages and the no pressure, child led approach enabled the children to dip in and out of activities on their own terms, often blurring the lines between creating and play with an anything goes approach.
