Eden Nature Garden is run by volunteers and relies on the generosity of supporters and funders. Your regular or one-off contributions help us to keep the garden looking beautiful to be enjoyed by everyone in the community.

Current projects requiring funding:

  • Sustainable water capture (£3,375)
We’d like to place 14 x 1m cubed water butts behind the church to enable us to collect the rainwater from the church roof, store it and then irrigate the garden without relying on tap water.
  • Educational signage (£2,200)
We’d like to direct visitors and school children to look out for certain aspects of the garden’s flora and fauna.
  • Pond restoration (£5,500)
The pond is vital for biodiversity and is at the heart of the garden. However, it leaks and at several points in the year it can dry out. We need to drain and reline the pond. Click here to find out more and donate.

Eden offers local residents a tiny oasis to escape the city, and also a chance for you to get your hands muddy to help contribute to our special garden during our volunteer days.

Currently we are pausing recruitment of new volunteers; if you would like to know when spaces open up on our Friday morning sessions, please enter your email address to hear first.
